Driving around Rapid City, starting today, you may have noticed some new signs in front of the Catholic churches. These new signs were purchased by the Returning Catholics Ministry to help let people know about the program. It has already resulted in calls, people asking about the program.
Bob Wentz, a core team member, had proposed the idea to the the rest of the team. Bob researched what was available, and decided two feet by three feet signs would be the right size. So an order was placed in early December, with the signs delivered this week. So Bob spent his lunch hour, driving around Rapid City, putting up the signs. Signs were placed in front of
- Blessed Sacrament
- Immaculate Conception
- Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cathedral
- St. Issac Jogues
- St. Theresa
The signs will stay up for a couple of weeks, then taken down until the next series, tentatively scheduled to begin shortly after Easter.
So if you are interested in the program, either attending or helping, please call 787-5168 and leave a message on the Returning Catholics voice mail box. And someone will contact you.
